Julie M. Benz born 1 May 1972 is an American actress who is best known for portraying Rita Bennett as Rita Bennett Dexter who won the Satellite Award for 2005 for Best Female Supporting Performance in Motion Picture/Series/Mini-Series made for TV. She starred on the series No Ordinary Family until it ended on May 13 2011. Among her previous well-known characters included Darla on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. She is set to star in the upcoming series of CBS called A Gifted Man.
