Samantha Mohr

Mohr was an UGA student who entered her first pageant after being offered by a friend. She was awarded Miss Columbus 1985. She was then eligible be a part of The Miss Georgia pageant, which occurred in June 1985. Mohr took home the title on June 22nd on the 22nd of June in 1985. Mohr took home more than $3500 in scholarships as well as other prize money at the pageant for the state. As Miss Georgia the state, she made events across Georgia. Georgia. Mohr represented Georgia at the Miss America 1986 pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey on September 15, 1985. Mohr was able to determine the likelihood that Susan Akin would win Miss America by computer modeling. The odds of winning were 22:1. Mohr did not rank in the top 10 finalist to win the national crown.
