Geena Davis

Geena Davis is known as an American actor, producer, writer and activist for women's rights. Alongside her diverse characters in Hollywood her work has earned critical acclaim for her roles in TV serials across various genres. Before her work as a film actress, she worked as a designer for fashion and made it to the semi-finals of the Team of Women's Archery at Olympics. The musician has been learning the playing the flute and piano since childhood because of her love for music. She also played the organ in Wareham Church. After finishing her graduation in Drama from Boston University, she went to New York City to start the career of an actress. She had to work hard and do occasional jobs before getting her first chance in acting. The model was successful before she made her debut with the film "Tootsie' in the year 1982. Then, her acting career was very successful and she received an Oscar Award. Also, she received the Golden Globe Award for her appearance in a TV drama series. She's married to Reza Jarrahy.
